Solo Studio-Watch Series: Round-Table Salon, Sun 8 Nov 2 pm

 

 

A Round-Table Salon for the Solo Studio-Watch Series will be presented on Sunday 8 November, starting at 2 pm in the Atrium, with the six participating artists in discussion with Art Centre Chief Curator/Curator of Contemporary Art Jan Allen. The artists are: Michael Davidge, Dorene Inglis, Erika Olson, Chantal Rousseau, Su Sheedy, and Lisa Visser. The Round-Table will be followed by a reception and the launch of an illustrated publication with curatorial notes and biographies of the artists.

Through 2009, the Solo Studio-Watch Series has featured the work of six Kingston visual and media artists through single-work exhibitions in the Art Centre's Etherington House. The round-table discussion will explore themes in the work of these artists and address Kingston as a context for artistic expression.
