CFRC FUNDRAISING DRIVE INFO

CFRC 101.9fm, Kingston's only campus and community radio station, wants
to be your Valentine this year.
CFRC celebrates its fifth annual Funding Drive this February 5-14!

As a not-for-profit, volunteer-based, listener-supported station, CFRC
relies on contributions made during the Funding Drive for a significant
portion of its operating revenue. The goal for this year's campaign is
$25,000, to be raised during 10 days of special on-air programming and
exciting community events including:

-a rare performance by Montreal's DaZoque! alongside Kingston's Swamp
Ward Orchestra and Peter Deachman at 9pm on Saturday, February 6 at the
Mansion, 506 Princess Street

-a live performance and broadcast of "A Windy Radio Drama," written and
produced by CFRC volunteers and staged for the first time in Wallace
Hall, John Deutsch University Centre, Queen's at 8pm on Wednesday,
February 10;

-a local indie showcase with PS I Love You, The Gertrudes and others at
the Time to Laugh Comedy Club, 394 Princess Street starting at 7pm,
Thursday Feb 11th;

-a Soul Shakedown dance party featuring CFRC djs at the Time to Laugh
comedy club on Saturday, February 13 at 10pm;

-a heartwarming hour of RadioGrams broadcast on Sunday, February 14 at
8pm, featuring messages from CFRC supporters to their loved ones.

These are just a few of the many special events this year's Funding
Drive has to offer listeners and the community.
