This 5 day workshop will highlight methods of monotype printing such as direct drawing, subtractive and additive techniques with some combinations. You will quickly achieve effects that are not possible with any other art form while creating unique one of a kind images. The monotype processes combine drawing, painting and printmaking techniques using water- based mediums. The instructor will provide many demonstrations to allow all levels of student to learn this exciting process. In addition a collograph plate will be created to produce multiple prints. A material list will be provided prior to the start of the class.
