CFRC is proud to welcome campus and community radio broadcasters from across Canada to the 2012 National Campus and Community Radio Conference (NCRC), taking place from June 12-17 in Kingston, Ontario. This year marks CFRC’s 90th anniversary. We are thrilled to invite people to the home of Canada’s longest-running campus-based radio station!

This year’s conference will feature an array of stimulating workshops, provocative speakers and mind-blowing music performances.  We’re very excited to host the first ever Equity in Radio Conference as part of this year’s NCRC on Saturday, June 16.

Events will kick off on Tuesday, June 12 with registration, lunch, orientation workshops and caucus group meetings. The closing ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 17, wrapping up by 2pm. The annual dinner gala and awards ceremony will take place on Friday, June 15.

On-campus accommodations are available in the form of single residence dorm rooms or 2-bedroom units you can share with a friend. Each is available for $60 per person per night. We will also strive to obtain billets for those who need them. If you have offered to volunteer or to present or facilitate an NCRC session, you may want to wait to register until after April 15, when programming will be confirmed, to be sure you are eligible for the presenter/volunteer rate.

Nous sommes fiers de vous accueillir à la Conférence Nationale des Radios Étudiantes et Communautaires (an anglais, NCRC) de 2012. La conférence aura lieu du 12 au 17 juin à CFRC-FM à Kingston, Ontario. 2012 marque le 90e anniversaire de CFRC. Nous sommes très excités de vous inviter à la radio étudiante la plus ancienne au Canada.

Cette année, la conférence comprendra plusieurs ateliers stimulants, des conférenciers piquants, et des spectacles de musique épatants. Nous sommes aussi très excités de présenter la première conférence Équité au sein de la radio, qui aura lieu samedi le 16 juin, au sein de la NCRC.

Les évènements commenceront mardi le 12 juin avec l’inscription, le déjeuner et les ateliers d’orientation. La cérémonie de clôture aura lieu dimanche le 17 juin et la conférence prendra fin à 14h. Le gala et la remise des récompenses annuels auront lieu vendredi le 15 juin.

L’hébergement sur le campus est disponible sous forme de chambre individuel ou chambre double à partager avec un(e) ami(e). Chaque chambres coûte 60$ par personne par nuit. Nous essayons d’obtenir un logement chez un hôte bénévole pour ceux qui en ont besoin. Si vous avez offert vos services en tant que bénévole ou conférencier, nous vous recommandons d’attendre au 15 avril avant votre inscription, et de confirmer à cette date votre éligibilité au tarif spéciaux.
