BLUES and GOSPEL with Rev. Ernie Cox Sunday, Sept. 9th, 2 p.m. Sydenham Street United Church Tickets at the Grand Theatre If you love Blues and Gospel, you won’t want to miss this concert. Frequently compared to Ray Charles, Dr. John, and Charles Brown, Reverend Ernie Cox comes to Kingston after sell-out performances on Stage Four in t Ottawa’s National Arts Centre. He’s performed with Montreal’s famed Jubilation Gospel Choir, opened for Ray Bonneville, played the Ottawa Tulip Festival, the Perth Summer Festival, and the Ottawa Bluesfest . On stage with Ernie will be New-York based saxaphonist Michael Webster, the London Trio Plus and Don Cummings on the B3 organ. Blues and Gospel doesn’t get much better than this!
