CALL TO ARTISTS
WHO: All artists wishing to join the Town and Country Studio
Tour for 2007 are encouraged to apply.
Students who are emerging artists are encouraged to apply
to join the 2007 tour for a sponsored ‘student guest
artist’ place on the tour. This placement is sponsored
by the Town and Country Studio Tour to promote and encourage
young emerging artists; waiving the standard tour fees for
the student who is chosen.
WHAT: The Town and Country Studio Tour is Kingston’s
October juried artists studio tour. Artists and guest artists
invite the public into their open studios during the weekend
for a show and sale of original fine arts and handcrafted works.
The Town and Country Studio Tour is a juried artists tour. All new applicants
must be juried.
WHERE: The Town and Country Studio Tour takes place throughout
Kingston’s urban and rural countryside studios.
New applicants to the tour will be located within the current
tour map area; becoming a ‘guest’ artist for their
first year of the tour. After this first year as a ‘guest’ artist
they may wish to relocate to a preferred site within the boundaries
of the tour map. Maps of the 2006 tour area are available online

WHEN: The Town and Country Studio Tour is held on the weekend
after Thanksgiving. For 2007 the dates for the tour are October
13 and October 14 from 10 am - 5 pm.
HOW: Submissions and applications for the 2007 tour are accepted
throughout February and March of 2007. The deadline for all
applications is
March 31st. Applications are available to download off of the
tour website throughout February and March. The form can be
filled out and submitted online. The 2007 tour fees are $200
per artist.
