As of February 1st, 2008 The Kingston Arts Council will be housed in new quarters, saying goodbye to our home at the Wellington Street Theatre. While we have had a good run at the Wellington, we are excited about our new space, next to the Sandra Whitton Gallery, Serendipity, and Cornerstone. Please come by and visit us (once we have unpacked!) at 253 Ontario St. Suite 203 (upstairs and to the right).
KAC will no longer be running a gallery. To rent the space contact Charles Robertson @ 613-542-0070.

2nd annual Fine Craft & Artist Directory for Kingston and Surrounding Area
The multi-page, colour brochure will be distributed at all tourism tradeshows, through the Kingston Accommodation Partners, Historic Inns of Kingston and by numerous private enterprises, such as galleries, stores and local patrons. Ten thousand copies of the 2007 directory were distributed and we are aiming to double that number for 2008.
The Fine Craft & Artist Directory for Kingston and Surrounding Area is a unique opportunity for local artists and artisans to raise awareness about our vibrant Art sector to the local community and the large number of tourists who visit Kingston each year.
We are targeting a completion date of the beginning of April 2008. This will allow distribution of the directories at the beginning of May, which marks the start of the region's busy tourist season. To be included please complete an application and submit it to KEDCO by Friday, February 1, 2008.
