In Wants and Needs painter Jeremy Mulder juxtaposes
older pieces with
newer ones to reveal both the permanence of desire
as human condition,
and its unpredictable variations over time.
Mulder's dense imagery transmits layered narratives
that are highly
personal, yet at the same time familiar to his audience.
His
kaleidoscopic paintings encourage viewers to confront
varied personal
responses and associations, creating a unique and
challenging
encounter with the artists own wants and needs.
