      Community Cultural Policy Plan
The City is creating a Community Cultural Policy Plan that will shape the cultural development of the Kingston community over the next ten years.
The Discussion Guide, given out at the January 28 and 29 Public Workshops, offers an opportunity to offer more in-depth input on the specific elements of the Stage 1 Update including the principles, strategic directions and "big moves" being proposed that will shape the cultural vitality of the City over the next ten years.
The Discussion Guide is available here (see link on page). The deadline for input on this stage of the Plan is February 8.
Sign up on the Community Cultural Policy Plan Mailing List (link on the page) to receive notice of more opportunities for involvement.
To learn more about planning for cultural vitality in Kingston, please contact Colin Wiginton, Manager, Cultural Services Department, City of Kingston, at 613-546-4291, ext. 1357 or cwiginton@cityofkingston.ca.

Come find us on Twitter and keep track of what's happening in the office, what arts related conversations are going on around Kingston, calls for artists, and arts news from our blog.

find out about calls for artists first...

Here at the Arts Council, we often get calls from people looking for an artist to fulfil some need - a commision, a gift, a school workshop, etc. We're offering you a new way to get updates and find out first about community arts projects, commisions, calls for artists, etc.

Sign up to our Google Group below and set how often you'd like to receive updates... All postings that come to us looking for people in an arts related field can now come directly to your inbox. In addition, you can post art related classifieds, calls for artists and proposals for collaborations. Please get in touch with the Arts Council office if you have any questions about this new group.

Please note, you do not need to have a Google or Gmail account to signup (although some restrictions on settings may apply). Just enter your address in the box below.
