Notice from She Sings!

She Sings! New York City - May 29 to June 1  - Why Not join us????

Seats are available for anyone interested in visiting NYC!

A Local Kingston choir, She Sings! (directed by Martha Duncan) will be travelling to New York City again this year - leaving at approx. 7am on Thursday May 29 and returning at 5pm Sunday, June 1 . There are 11 seats remaining on the bus for anyone interested in joining the trip.
Althoughthe choir is a women's choir, there are currently both men and women registered for the trip. Payment is due by Feb. 27 if you wish to be included and names will be accepted on a first come- first served basis.
Prices range from $585 for a quad room and includes full American
breakfast, bus transportation and hotel) to $843 for a double. Triple rates are
also available. You may also pay a rate not including breakfast.

'She Sings' has been invited to participate in a Women's and Girls Choir Festival hosted by the New York Treble Singers. The concert will be held on Friday, May 30, in the evening, and will include a number of choirs from around the world. She Sings! is the only Canadian choir participating.

The cost of the trip does not include entry into the concert however guests are more than welcome to attend should they wish to do so. We are staying in the theatre district at 7th and 57th, at the Park Central Hotel (across from Central Park). You can check out the hotel at this linkwww.parkcentralny.com . All activities are your own responsibility, meals, tickets for shows etc. etc, although we will be arranging some group outings that everyone is welcome to participate in.

The Cantabile Choirs of Kingston release their sixth recording: MIDWINTER

Six choirs that total 250 voices combine with organ, piano and several guest instrumentalists in a wealth of Christmas and seasonal music. Less familiarcontemporary works are woven together with more traditional works as well aspopular carols.
