'Made 4 You' Store Opened by Local Artists

This holiday season buy local from Made 4 You and get original, hand-made products that your friends and family will adore!
You've heard of the 100-Mile Diet? Now try 100-Mile holiday shopping; local products by Kingston artists!
Frustrated by the lack of retail spaces in which to sell their work amidst the annual flood of Christmas shoppers, a collective of Kingston artisans have pooled their finances and creativity to open a holiday-season shop located in the lower level of 122 Princess Street called Made 4 You.
"Last year we tested the waters by having a space in the back of Very Shari's old location on Princess Street", said collective member Mary Anne Lawless. "Customers were so happy to find a shop of locally handmade gifts. Now we have a bigger place and our group has grown to 15 members plus consignees."
At Made 4 You, shoppers will find an amazing variety of unique, quality hand-crafted merchandise including clothing and accessories for all ages, functional and decorative pottery and glassware, chain maille, textile art, jewelry, photography, Victorian reproduction Christmas ornaments and so much more. In keeping with the trend to support our local economy, and to encourage the development of Kingston's unique cultural identity the Made 4 You collective is especially well suited to the conscientious shopper. Future plans for growth include studio space and workshops.
