SALLY CHUPICK |
Kingston Painter Sally Chupick
FIGURATIVELY SPEAKING is a group of 8 paintings by
Kingston Artist Sally Chupick on show in Kingston's
newest
exhibition space THE UPSTAIRS GALLERY at the Kingston
Arts
Council 189 Sydenham St., during the month of March
2004.
As Chupick's title suggests, the subject matter of
her
painting in this exhibition is figurative. However,
they are
less about the study of the human figure than they are
about
a captured moment experienced, then expressed through
Sally¹s love of painting. A personal visual diary
of sorts; brief
observations of moments to ponder, thrill at, celebrate
and
reflect upon. These interactions are painted from the
heart
in a mixture of watercolours and oil paintings.
All are invited to view Sally Chupick's fine art works
during March 2004 upstairs at The Upstairs Gallery
189 Sydenham St., Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm.
