Call
for Entries
to the Kingston Arts Council’s 2nd Annual
Jurried Arts Salon
Area artists are invited to contribute works to
the Kingston Arts Council’s 2nd Annual Jurried
Arts Salon.
The finest art of the Kingston area will be showcased
at the Salon, which will take place from May 3
to 29 in the Wilson Room of the Kingston Frontenac
Public Library, Central Branck, located at 130
Johnson Street, Kingston.
Artists can enter up to two original works in
either the Emerging Artists category or the Established
Artists category. Three prizes will be awarded
ineach category – two adjudicator’s
choice awards, plus a people’s choice award.
This is a fantastic opportunity for local artists
to show and sell their best works. All entries
will also be featured in an exhibition catalogue.
The deadline to submit entries to the Jurried
Arts Salon is Tuesday, April 15. Entry forms are
available throught the Kingston Arts Council by
calling (613) 531-ARTS (2787). There is an entry
fee of $15 dollars for Kingston Arts Council Members.
The Entry fee for non-members is $35 and includes
a one-year membership in the council.
