IMPORTANT:
As a condition of funding, evidence of $2,000,000 liability insurance coverage will be required from the applicant organization before any awarded funds are released. This insurance coverage must name the Kingston Arts Council and the City of Kingston as additional insureds.

It is therefore recommended that you budget for the insurance costs. Because adequate insurance is a prerequisite of funding, all applicants are strongly encouraged to contact an insurance agent/broker prior to submitting their CKAF application. Applicants should obtain an estimate of the costs associated with insuring their particular organization. It may also be wise to include the cost of this insurance in their CKAF Project Grant Application Budget.
