OUR PROJECTS

Student Art Contest and the Gardening Festival

For the third consecutive year the Kingston Arts Council is coordinating a Student Art Contest in partnership with The Lung Association and Communities in Bloom. Kingston Arts Council adjudicators have selected artwork that will be exhibited during the Kingston Gardening Festival which is being held in Portsmouth Olympic Harbour from March 1 to 4.

In addition the work of three professional artists Barb Carr, Sally Chupick and Pat Shea, will be on display.

These three artists have also visited schools to share their artistic talent while working on a special project for the Kingston Gardening Festival with participating students.

First and Second Prize winners, in three categories, as selected by the KAC adjudicators, will be announced during an award presentation at 8 PM on Friday Family Fun Night: March 2nd.

Treat yourself to a "Breath of Spring," enjoy the beautiful spring gardens and the exciting Kingston Arts Council art exhibit at the Kingston Gardening Festival.
